Information We Collect

- Resume and career information you upload, including work history, education, skills, certifications, and job descriptions.
- Interview responses and recruiter interactions submitted through the Service.
- Payment information processed securely by our payment provider. Resume Gear does not store your full payment card information.
- Device, browser, IP address, usage, and diagnostic information collected automatically.
How We Use Your Information

- Generate AI-powered resume optimization, skill analysis, and interview preparation.
- Enable recruiter and candidate interactions.

AI Processing
To provide AI-powered features, information you submit may be securely processed by trusted AI service providers. AI-generated results are intended to assist you and should be reviewed for accuracy before use.
Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how our website is used — pages viewed, links clicked, and the general source of the visit — and Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors move through our pages: it records mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and the pages viewed, which we can replay as session recordings and combine into heatmaps. Anything typed into a form is hidden from those recordings, and the Stripe payment form is never recorded. In the United States and India both are on by default and you can opt out at any time from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page; everywhere else they run only if you accept analytics in the cookie notice, and until then Clarity is not loaded at all. Google and Microsoft receive your IP address as part of this and act as our service providers. Advertising and personalisation features are switched off, and we do not use this data for advertising. If you decline or opt out, no analytics identifier is stored on your device and no session is recorded. Separately, our web server keeps a standard access log (IP address, page requested, referring page and browser type) for up to 14 days; from it we count visits per day by source and marketing campaign, and keep only those totals — never your IP address or any other detail about you. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting, payment processing, AI processing, website analytics, customer support, and email delivery. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
